Officers from the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) arrested the leader of the Outlaws Thailand criminal gang at a luxury condominium on Soi Sukhumvit 55 in Bangkok for operating online gambling, human trafficking and drug trafficking. Assets worth more than 150 million baht were seized.

UPDATE:

 

PM gives green light for extending pub opening hours until 4am

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has given the greenlight for pubs and bars in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Chon Buri to stay open until 4am, tentatively from December 15, to promote tourism and increase revenues.

THAI Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin said today (Nov. 3) that Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim had called to inform that 20 out of 23 Thais held hostage by Hamas fighters are safe while a search is underway for two to three other captives, TV Channel 7 said.

A THAI woman was arrested at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 2 a.m. yesterday (Nov. 2) while trying to smuggle 17 Indian star tortoises to Taiwan, Thai Rath newspaper and TV Channel 7 said.
