Could it be that the 'cyber research' done in the back of the premises while at the front they're selling Humus and falafel? anyway, Cyber research and Thailand, there you have a classic oxymoron if i ever heard one...

I remember about 15 years ago it was up for sale. I believe prior to that it belonged to TUI - the German travel company. The Cyber Research Center sign has been there many years.

Is that Reaper drone footage?

Other than pictures of food, I could not care less about this. I reckon I represent 80% of readers.

And yet you feel the need to comment. Hmmm

The mystery since 2005 (end of 2004) when it was built.

Some pretty convincing hint on owner of "asiarooms.com" and German TUI group.

Hard to swallow, but there seems no big thing behind. Built as a private house by someone with big funds and his special taste.

When I saw this thread I thought hard where had you been reading about it?

Ah! It was a forum site called thaivisa.com

Interesting I had thought it was some Dr No type boiler room operation, but it turns out just to be a rich man's baubie to play with. Must have had some great parties inside off the scale of extravagant.

That will be the tunnels the City Council build every year that don't work when it floods before they go a-whoring in Walking Street drinking at the Alulah-Ak  Bar.
