ADVERTISMENTS PREVENT COMMENTS OR REACTION

Currently I am experiencing repeat problems when trying to react or comment on the News Forum.

For example, clicking to react by selecting an available emoticon immediately opens a window with an unrelated AD marked 'Sponsored' i cannot get rid of this without opehing it fully and then closing it to get back to the forum topic. Often, this does not work and I am forced to move out of that topic altogether unable to react or comment.

I accept that AN needs financial support to exist as do other forums but being forcibly prevented from participating  by rubbish such as 'Explosive Hair Gel' is too much!

The advertisements here are completely out of control. I understand the need for sponsorship, but the manner with which they have gone about it makes the entire experience difficult, at best.
