A 22 year old military officer from the Royal Thai Armed Forces, identified as Ekkarat Suea-am, was fatally shot after a high-speed pursuit involving an aggressive pickup truck driver in Prachin Buri province.

The incident, which unfolded over a distance of 10 kilometres, occurred at around 9pm yesterday. Ekkarat, who was driving his girlfriend from Saraburi to Sa Kaeo, was reportedly chased down and shot by the pickup driver after honking his horn as a warning while attempting to overtake the vehicle.

Upon reaching the scene, police found an Isuzu pickup truck crashed into a grassy verge with significant damage to its left side. Ekkarat, originally from Chabmakrut, Klonghad in Sa Kaeo, was found with a critical gunshot wound to his left shoulder. Despite swift action by rescue services, his life could not be saved due to a bullet puncturing his lung.

His 25 year old girlfriend, who was in a state of shock, managed to recount the horrifying ordeal to the authorities.

 Unbelievable but:

"The COVID-19 pandemic has clearly exacerbated mental health concerns. The number of people in Thailand suffering from mental health-related problems rose from 1.3 million in 2015 to 2.3 million in 2021. Unsurprisingly, the number of suicides is also increasing" (I wonder what are the current figures!)

RIP young military officer.

You can be killed over nothing at all in the Land of Smiles. Life means absolutely nothing here and you can be murdered over the slightest thing. Nowhere is safe at any time. Maybe TAT should post a warning when they promote the country.

And another murder for no reason reported today:

You do that, I'm just nipping outside to disconnect the horn.

Despite critically examining the photograph I am unable to detect a deflated member of any avian species roosting in the undergrowth.😋

I have absolutely no idea what this means. Seemingly no relation to anything in the thread.

He was making a classless comment about wanting intercourse with the female cop in the picture. It's strange that that's what came to this cretin's mind when reading the article.

Men with children's brains , Driving ,and Guns great combination

I'm probably a younger less fat, less ugly slug than most on here, most likely you included buttercup.
