Need someone to remove junk from yard

Are there any services in Bangkok that will remove junk from a yard? We asked the city, but they said their truck is too big for our road.

We have two stacks of old roof tiles about waist-high. Also, some other rusted junk. Maybe one pickup truck load, but probably two.

Any advice to find someone to do this would be appreciated.

It would be a pay for service but suspect any MC driver could put you in touch with someone - all work crews have pickups for trash removals and a place to dump it. Or just walk/drive around local area looking for such a crew fixing house and ask.  They often have workers idle and a truck available.

The problem is they have a place to dump it and its not in a proper landfill. Its on the side of the road or pond or canal on on someone's unsuspecting land

Actually believe many of the contractors do dump where authorized these days.

If you live where it's applicable ask the headman (or one of his 'assistants') - you'll still need to pay, but they'll take care of it, and appreciate money circulating in village rather than going to outsiders. Also, cruise around and keep an eye out for construction crews, ask foreman if he'll take a side job. Alternatively (if land is big enough), hire a small macro to dig a deep hole, shove everything in and cover it. We did this in three places, was sure nothing will grow - turned out no problems (bananas, a local tree and a flower bed).

Many may if they are true contractors but I'm not seeing that from the standard labor guy you would probably be using for a job like this

Most here in Bangkok are contractors/working for.  Very hard to find independent workers these days.
