Rain reigns: TMD warns 27 provinces, including Bangkok, to brace for heavy rainfall

The Meteorological Department of Thailand (TMD) issued a heavy rainfall warning for 27 provinces, including Bangkok. The southern region is expected to receive significant rainfall, covering 80% of the area, which may lead to sudden flooding and runoff.

Cabinet to Discuss 7.4 Billion Baht in Development Projects

BANGKOK (NNT) - Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin is set to chair a mobile cabinet meeting in Nong Bua Lam Phu province on Dec 4, where 81 development projects worth approximately 7.4 billion baht will be proposed. This meeting is part of Srettha’s tour of the upper Northeast provinces, including Bueng Kan, Loei, Nong Khai, Nong Bua Lam Phu, and Udon Thani.

Thailand’s household debt for Q2 spikes at 16.07 trillion baht

Thailand’s household debt has increased by 3.6%, compared to the first quarter, to about 16.07 trillion baht in the second quarter of this year, representing 90.7% of GDP, according to the National Economic and Social Development Board.

Move Forward wants political, not legal, impact from its amnesty push

Subsidy approved to discourage sugarcane farmers from burning canes

Mysterious man nabbed near old house, Bangkok police crack down on disturbance

An unidentified man was arrested last night in the vicinity of an old house in the Bang Rak district by Bangkok police following reports of a disturbance. The man, who was causing a commotion and brandishing an axe, was taken into custody without incident. Despite the unsettling scene, no illegal items were found on the man’s person.
