Esteemed members -i will need two medications renewed shortly   Do I need an RX from a doctor ?

 

The two medications are  losartan  and Hydrochloroth Iazide

You can buy generic brands at any/most pharmacy, don't need a prescription.

Losartan is widely available at any pharmacy.  Hydrochlorothiazide should be OTC also.

Yes, neither needs a prescription in Thailand. Readily available in cheap local generic brands. Though the HTCZ will need a larger pharmacy.

I use both of them and get them (without prescription) from BangkokDrugstore.com 

You can purchase online for courier delivery.  I have not found anywhere cheaper after several searches.

Barbiturates and opiate-based drugs are the only ones in reality that need an official prescription. Just take your meds in any pharmacy and they will sell you the generic version over the counter.

Follow up- had only 4 pills left of Losartan 100   . I walked into a local pharmacy and they sold me 30 tablets of Tanzaril 100 Losartan potassium 100 mg. ( I am about an hour east of Phitsanulok)

 

170 baht   -incredible.
