Prime Minister Thavisin yesterday confirmed the Royal Thai Police is investigating the social media video of a Chinese tourist wearing a Thai police uniform.


A Pol Capt later admitted he gave his uniform to the tourist to wear to pose for a video, And he didn't receive anything in return from the tourist..

 

The Interior Ministry has ordered local authorities to take precautions against fine particulate matter (PM2.5) as the wild fire burning season begins. 


local authorities have been told to enforce the law against open burning and other activities that cause air pollution.

 

Pheu Thai Party leader and daughter of Taksin ‘Paetongtarn Shinawat’  made a statement to say any proposed amnesty  bill by her party must be agreeable to all,  to end political conflicts. Paetongtarn denied her father,  Thaksin Shinwatra, would benefit, adding Thaksin wasn't granted amnesty on Dec 5th, as some had speculated. 

 

A well known academic has called for education reform after Thai students scored poorly in the latest international education assessments carried out by Pisa, The Programme for International Student Assessment, 


The academic and Education specialist Khun Sompong said the results show the education system is plagued with problems and is outdated.
