Can anyone help? 1. i have a work permit and non imm b 2. i want to change companies can i still retain the work permit and non imm b? does it cancell out and the new company have to re issue? do i have to leave the country? what the best advice you can give for this? really apriciate any help spurs. raro Posted July 18, 2007 Share Posted July 18, 2007 I just went through thevery same process. I had to return the old work permit and at the same time the new company applied for a new work permit. Upon returning the old WP, you have to go to Immigration immediately after and cancel the non-immi-b. This grants you another 7 days in Thailand. Simultaneously, you submit to immigration the new WP application receipt and they give you another 30 days on consideration. Once the new WP is approved, you get a new 1 year non-immi-b and this allows your WP to be extended until the visa expires. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Or was the new work permit stamped in your old book?
