Clubs and Bars Opens Until 4 a.m. From 15 December

BANGKOK (NNT) - Clubs and bars in major provinces of Thailand will be allowed to open as late as 4 a.m. from 15 December onwards, according to the latest ministerial regulation announced by the Ministry of Interior. Venues holding New Year celebrations will also be allowed to operate until 6 a.m. on New Year’s Day, as part of a special arrangement.

Police Await Girl’s Statement Before Summoning ‘Somrak’ for Questioning

National park officials discover 118 turtle eggs on Phang Nga beach

It’s turtle laying season and at least turtle has made their way to a Phang Nga Beach over the past week. National Park officials have found 118 leatherback turtle eggs on a beach in the Thai Mueang district of Phang Nga.

Seven police transferred pending investigation of rape and bribery allegations

Seven Pathum Thani provincial police officers have been transferred to inactive posts at the provincial police command, pending the outcome of an investigation into allegations that they raped a drug suspect and demanded 300,000 baht in bribes from her in exchange for dropping drug dealing charges.

Last three orangutans smuggled into Thailand set to return to Indonesia
