TOURIST arrivals increased significantly last week reaching 655,653 with there being a jump in holidaymakers from China who were drawn here by Taiwanese pop superstar Jay Chou’s concert, TV Channel 7 said today (Dec. 13).

Tourism and Sports Minister Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol said Jay Chou’s concert led to the number of Chinese tourists soaring to 100,704 last week, a jump of 23,861 from the previous week, with more tourists also coming from the Malaysian state of Selangor where there was a long holiday.

These types of headlines are rather embarrassing really.

The mere fact they have to dig up utter rubbish like this proves how desperate they are for any kind of good publicity.

Or tried to cross a road using a pedestrian crossing, wasn't scammed by a taxi driver, threatened by a Win rider, assaulted by the local nutter, or extorted by officials.

Oddly, he had to provide a hand drawn map to his residence in Taiwan.

I had the same experience, my last marriage visa application I enclosed a google map with my location pinned.

They refused it and asked for a hand drawn one?

I looked at them in complete bewilderment.

Next year, when you give them a hand-drawn map, they will ask for a Google Map printout!  They are consistent in their inconsistency.

Trace the Google Map.

It must have been one hell of a concert if all 100,704 came all that way for it!

Never, in the history of live musical performances, has so much sweaty polyester been worn by so many to appreciate so few...

I've heard of his sister Givsa.

Oh! no I missed it 🤔
