Prominent entrepreneur in Kanchanaburi is gearing up to launch a distinctive dining experience aboard a retired Boeing 747 in a new landmark development, spanning over 100 acres with a value exceeding 500 million. The actual aircraft, parked for public viewing, will allow both locals and tourists to get up close.

News reports indicate that at 7:00 AM on December 22, a convoy of 22-wheel trailers and 10-wheel trucks transported the decommissioned Boeing 747 fuselage, purchased for the new Landmark Resort valued at over 500 million. The authentic aircraft, sans engines, will be showcased to the public in the expansive area, providing a genuine experience on the land exceeding 100 acres, reported Siam Rath.

Following the transportation, the convoy, carrying the Boeing 747 fuselage, encountered a breakdown due to a malfunctioning axle near the Sri Thaworn Shrine. Coordination with local traffic police and assistance from the Pak Phraek sub-district police were necessary to tow the 10-wheel truck, enabling the successful progression of the convoy to the construction site.

Upon inquiry, the convoy foreman mentioned not knowing the owner of the purchased Boeing 747, stating they received instructions only to transport and assemble the aircraft. The genuine aircraft, lacking only engines, was bought at a price reflecting its engineless state. The assembly process is estimated to take around two months.

Regarding the project owner's identity, a reliable source disclosed that the entrepreneur, known for a petrol station business and a renowned restaurant in Phanom Thuan, Kanchanaburi, is also a local politician with family ties in the area. However, the owner's identity remains undisclosed as of now.

Trouble was it was on government land along with the small resort that the government confiscated.

Drifting slightly, I am watching people nearby our home buying, selling and building houses, and it is all on government land.

Then there will be tears and outrage when it gets seized.

They recently granted permission for our local village to stay as it is even though in the government land. Do not know what will happen with any sales. We are outside the village with a proper chanote. We almost got caught buying from the the person mentioned above but the Tessaban set us straight after the Lands Office said nothing.
