webfact
Pattaya —Pattaya police conducted a comprehensive inspection of entertainment venues across the city on Tuesday, December 26th, in a bid to ensure the safety and security of tourists and locals during the upcoming New Year festivities. Led by Pol. Lt. Col. Sirachat Nuthet, deputy superintendent of the Pattaya Police Station, the operation focused on reminding entertainment business operators of the Royal Thai Police’s “5 Safety Measures.” These measures include preventing minors from entering entertainment venues, prohibiting drug use within venues and the carrying of weapons of any kind, reporting possible human trafficking activities, and maintaining crowd control, fire safety, and overall security measures. cracker1
I noticed some of those "Fire doors" opened in to the main area and so in an incident where many patrons are exiting in panic, these doors would be pushed shut wit a build up of crushed bodies blocking exit. I hope these issues were noticed and being addressed ......................... but I doubt it !
