On December 28th, 2023, Dr. Keerati Kitmanawat, the president of Airports of Thailand Co Ltd., and relevant agencies performed an inspection of readiness at Suvarnabhumi Airport on incoming tourists during the New Year celebrations for 2024.

Dr. Keerati reportedly anticipated an increasing number of flights from December 29th of 2023 to January 4th of 2024 at Suvarnabhumi Airport with a total of 6,777 flights, divided into 5,069 international flights and 1,708 domestic flights. It was reported that the number had increased by more than 16.76% compared to the previous year during the same period.

Moreover, an increasing number of passengers checking in and out at Suvarnabhumi Airport would be reportedly a total of 1,245,437 individuals which increased more than 26.58% compared to the previous year during the same period, anticipated Dr. Keerati.

plan accordingly and there should be no slow down or disruption in services right ? this holiday surge is nothing new.

'Offers Free Parking for Travelers' meanwhile every other day it is almost impossible to get in to park - a queue forms & of course the VIPs go to the front & it becomes a free-for-all.

50 baht saved, vital to somebody getting on an expensive flight!

It wasn't long ago you were the evil one for the pollution one caused taking flights.....guess we got over that problem.

This free parking is offered every year, strikes me as an irresponsible move for a business to make at a time when a lot of money could be made. I bet it is due to an inability to have the manpower to collect fees, as they will just take the time off anyhow.

Please retrain your staff.  They are like animals.

Whoopity-freaking-doo-da!

Anticipating an increasing number of flights, what a load of B ollock's, does he really think that the airlines just fly in and out without any forward planning / notification of there schedules.

But then of course maybe he doesn't have a clue about what's going on, he's only the President - what ever that means.
