A 15 year old Thai boy confessed to accidentally shooting and killing his 14 year old friend while attempting to attack a rival group of teenagers on a road in Pathum Thani province near Bangkok.

The 14 year old boy was shot in the back of the head while riding a motorcycle with two friends on Liap Khlong Song Road in the Khlong Luang district of Pathum Thani province. Khlong Luang Police Station officers and medical professionals were called to the scene but the boy died before receiving treatment.

Officers harboured suspicions that the teenage boy might have been shot by a rival group of teenagers. Subsequently, they reviewed CCTV footage in an attempt to identify the assailants. The footage revealed three teenagers chasing a motorcycle owned by another group of boys on the street. Gunshots were heard, leading to the separation of the two groups of teenagers.

Upon careful analysis of the CCTV footage, officers deduced that the rival teenagers could not have been the gunmen, as the trajectory of the bullet contradicted their presence. The bullet struck the right side of the victim’s neck, whereas the rivals were situated on the left side while riding the motorcycle.

Shoot the shooter, and possibly his friends and foes, there is no room for such manure among us.

They took a gun to fire on another group. I'm actually happier that he killed one of his own. His stupid actions will hurt him more this way.

How can a 15 year old accidentally get a gun or whatever....Probably it is no accident, but stupidity and no guidance of parents.. H did not know where guns are used for?? What was his intention to take it with him?? Buy a bottle of cocacola?

Life for the supplier and owner……that will sharpen their dull, stupid little minds somewhat.

You can't arrest me, officer!

I wasn't trying to shoot my friend.

That was an accident.

I was trying to murder someone else.

I dindunuffin!

Quite easy apparently to get a gun, even registered guns don't have to be locked in a gun cabinet, illegal guns for sale on social media and just home made ones.

Until they introduce mandatory jail terms for having a gun in public ,and the suppliers, having to have registered guns locked in a gun cabinet, nothing will change

And they won't, it will just become another statistic.

Just like drink drivers who kill people.

Here's an idea:

They should teach in school what I was taught at a very young age.

Never point a gun at someone unless you are prepared to kill!
