The Thailand Consumers Council has called for urgent inspections of the entire operational system of the Yellow and Pink train lines, following separate recent accidents.

On its Facebook page, the council expressed doubts over the causes of the incidents, as both lines have only recently opened for public service.

“We believe that the accidents may have been caused by mistakes in the setup, as the lines are very new,” the council stated.

No shat Sherlock, No split pins were fitted, Nyloc nuts can be fitted but can fail at 120c  all stub axles now need to be remove to have split pin holes drilled and castellated nuts fitted, not someone trying to drill through standing up on a work platform, a bench drill is the only correct way,  all bearings need to be replaced and greased properly, seals fitted and with the correct pre-load applied with the correct torque. come back to me in 3months when that is all finished. VERY Basic engineering that a 17yr old apprentice should know.

In other words, don't be caught standing beneath or anywhere around the Pink and Yellow Lines.

Yes, You could get hit by a falling workman with a big hammer in his hand. :cheesy:

Meant add also bearings should be pressed in with a bench press, not with a big hammer.
