I could very well be wrong... but the still images in the article look like the same images from video I saw on ThaiRath32 last night... where it looked like a woman jumped into the pool on her own accord and (seemingly) drowned herself as a man stood on the edge of the pool and watched.

The name of the hotel is being with held as police carry out there investigation but in the meantime here is the name of the deceased and her farang boyfriend. Who may or may not have a case to answer 🤔  yes that sounds about right 

While it certainly possible that she drowned, it's fairly unlikely considering that he was poolside and would have seen her struggling. Hopefully an autopsy can determine whether or not the drowning was inflicted or an accident, if indeed it was drowning. If not this guy is in for a world of hurt. It's never a good thing to be seen in public arguing with a Thai woman and then to have her dead minutes later. 

It will be a rough go for this Kiwi until they finally come to a conclusion of what really happened.  Hopefully there are enough CCTV cameras (that are working) to put together what went on by that pool.

They will find out the cause of death,maybe something either party had a agruement about.It will all come out in the wash now
