Angkor Wat is a 5 hour drive away, yet I still haven't seen it.

So, question 1: Can I get a visa on arrival at the border?

Question 2: can I get car insurance at the border, or is it better to get one here in Thailand?

Is it worth the risk. Just get a bus to Angkor. There is nothing else to see in Cambodia.
