The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday, (January 9th), a 50-year-old French man who withheld his name filed a report to Patong police. He told the police that on November 27th last year, 2023, he rented an apartment on the Na Nai Road in the morning. He kept about 95,000 baht, or almost 3,000 USD, in a red bag in his room. On Tuesday, (January 9th), his money disappeared. Tourists come with excess cash and suddenly it disappears. Temptation is an evil that is hard to resist.
