On January 16, 2024, Lieutenant General Sak Siraphuekam, Commander-in-Chief of the Tourist Police, warmly received Mr. Doi Yuichiro, Secretary and Coordinator of the Aged Affairs Division at the Japanese Embassy in Thailand.

Mr. Doi led a delegation of 36 esteemed Japanese police officials from the National Police Agency, focusing on comprehensive criminal investigations across the nation, reported Siam Rath.

The delegation seized a distinctive opportunity to explore the emergency hotline center (1155) and firsthand witness the operational procedures at the command and control center.

The Japanese Police Delegation must have lost their minds while travelling and witnessing the lawlessness on full display here.

'Japanese Police Delegation Explores Thai Tourist Police Operations' - that would take less than three minutes; what did they do with the rest of the day?

Hope they don't pick up any bad habits from the Thai Police.....

I wonder if they'll be visiting the place: operations center for inactive posts?

I think the Japanese came for a bit of light, comedy relief from the Keystone cops!

There is really nothing Japan can learn from these bunch of misfits in uniform.

Will they be able to suppress/contain their mirth until their return to Japan?

They are probably more in shock than anything else, witnessing the most incompetent, poorly trained, corrupt police force on the planet Earth.

I doubt it, the trip was just a Japanese jolly, their department hadn't used up all its budget.

Think it could be part of a Japanese reality game show.

They all just needed to complete, all sessions with out laughing.

The next task,  will be for the whole team to eat a shoe.

No bad habits, but just some "you won't believe this!" stories for when they return home, a lot of them.

You know the kind of stories where people say "I ate for free on that story for months" because it was true but nuts.

Joined their Thai counterparts with breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, interspersed with a few naps and collection of brown envelopes - a full productive day.

As others have said - what a joke , the Japanese must have gone home shell-shocked by the complete incompetence they would have witnessed.
