Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin is set to unleash Thailand’s secret weapon, artificial intelligence (AI), at the 54th World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos.

This year, the WEF is not just a meeting, it’s a battleground for global leaders navigating a world torn apart by geopolitics and AI advancements.

Thailand’s 12th year at the WEF is more critical than ever, with the 61 year old Thai prime minister seizing the opportunity to engage with international power players and lure investments into the Thai landscape. But what makes this WEF truly headline-worthy is the relentless march of AI, a game-changer in politics, economics, and our very way of life.

As the WEF tackles the theme of Rebuilding Trust in a world that’s lost its unity, AI takes centre stage, disrupting norms and demanding attention. The four main themes – politics, economics, AI, and the environment – form the battleground where leaders strive for cooperation, stability, growth, and a blueprint for tackling the global climate crisis.

The PM certainly qualifies as a major tool, in more ways than one.

This has no relationship at all with the rest of the article.

Thailand should be able to leap to the front on "artificial intelligence" as they are not encumbered by systems involving "real intelligence"

This is why voting isn't even relevant, pita is in this shizzle too. They all love WEF, in a way that is no surprise to me, the elite here loves ruling over them all.

What, "Build back better" didn't work for you? You elites can build back my trust when you go back where you came from and own nothing and be happy!

I'll charge you rent!

Do you need to be a membership to participate to this meeting and how much is the price?

One more tool in the arsenal.

For artificial intelligence you need natural intelligence. So Thailand... well sorry !

$52k for your corporate membership, $19k for your ticket and then get yourself to Davos. You get to rub shoulders with all the prominent corporate slime lobbyists, the tone-deaf politicians, and the self-important people of the world at an event that is regarded as evil. Bargain.

Yeah, the next step will be that Thailand invented Chat GPT. :cheesy:

Not much of a secret weapon if it’s already been unleashed worldwide

Will they proclaim that Thailand is the "Hub of AI"? No way, right? They wouldn't do that, would they?:w00t:

No, they will have to settle as being a 'spoke' in a hub.

Now their biggest fear for the world is not a pandemic, global weather or WW3. It's disinformation and misinformation. They know what's good for us great unwashed.

Most things that happen in Thailand are a mis-understanding... hard to tell if it's mis/dis-information or what.

Thailand has created a working AI, I did not know that.
