John8
Hey all. Can I show my visa from my phone that I have received via email in the airport? or do they only accept paper printed visas? it's because they may give me the visa very late. My travel time is very long and I will be stuck in planes and airport transits for 2 days I don't think there are any printing services in the transit areas that I will be in Thanks

You need hard copy. Even with receiving an eVisa very late you can walk into any business/condo etc and ask them to print doc. Small tip covers it.

ScamperAZ
I arrived in Chiang Mai October 4 2023 under similar circumstances and the PDF of my SETV on my phone was accepted. Edited January 22 by ScamperAZ Clarity

That's correct especially in airports such as CM. Can't imagine anyone being rejected entry without printout. Poor form imo as the io needs to check all the eVisa details against the pp. It's also required at airline check in departure. In some countries (eg Vietnam) they want hard copy. Popular Post Pattaya57
When you go to the Thai e-visa website the first thing you see is a full page pop-up for you to acknowledge that you must print it. "After the e-Visa application has been approved, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to applicants, which must be printed out for presenting to airlines and Thai Immigration Officials when traveling to Thailand." 2 2

I think it is more a matter of convenience for the IO. When I gave her mine she read it about 3 times before keying the number into her machine.
