Authorities have completed the identification of all 23 victims killed in last week’s fireworks factory explosion in Suphan Buri’s capital district, with the remains having been returned to each victim’s family after a thorough forensic investigation using fingerprint and DNA analysis.

Deputy National Police Chief Pol Gen Kittirat Phanphet confirmed that the final missing human part was discovered in a nearby pond, concluding the exhaustive search for remains and chemical residues in the area.

To ensure the well-being of the surrounding communities, Papinwit Laongkaew, head of the Suphan Buri Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, said the provincial governor has been tasked with providing further assistance to those affected by the tragedy and verifying that local water sources remain uncontaminated.
