The meeting aimed at revitalizing the station’s vicinity to become a new landmark and a hub for local economic development. geisha Posted February 2 Share Posted February 2 I think the station is the entrance to Hua Hin, and should be given a lot of good thought. It’s a beautiful station, what they do not need to do is pile a load of thai kitch to spoil it all. Everyone has their photo next to the Hua Hin sign inside. Keep,it smart. If needed , a pretty coffee / tea shop with some authentic cakes/ biscuits/ tarts , which could also sell a few tasteful momentos . I’d rather see that just outside the entrance and nicely done, maybe olde worldly , as is the original station. The problem with Thai ideas is that they copy everything and everywhere. It would be useful in showing foreigners and Thais ( who wouldn’t go inside otherwise) , people arriving and departing.
