A car has plunged into a construction pit in the Don Mueang district of Bangkok, sparking a flurry of online commentary and concern. The incident occurred on Srongprapa Road near the Don Mueang Technical College, close to the Ozone Market One.

 

At approximately 2.55am, the vehicle, identified as a sedan, lost control and fell into an open sewer pit that was under construction. Emergency services are currently at the scene conducting rescue operations, reported KhaoSod.

 

The accident on Srongprapa Road, a bustling area near Don Mueang Technical College, has raised numerous questions among the public. Many are inquiring how the vehicle ended up in the pit and whether there were sufficient warning signs like cones, barriers, or other indicators to alert drivers of the ongoing construction. Details about the condition of the individuals inside the car have not been reported yet, but the online community has been quick to express their concerns and demand answers.

Only the mafia taxi's that won't use the meter and the one's who threaten passengers with machetes and knives,  and the insurance companies in Thailand who won't pay on accident claims as witnessed many many times as they always make up an excuse why they won't pay. 

That's why I added those two occupations / services. 

Too many people burning incense and it obscured his view.

It is not the pit that caused the accident it is the driver losing control, if it was the pit at fault why is it not full of cars

Maybe he uses the same GPS as the tik tok coffee shop lady.

Always because the claims are for injuries or situations that are not covered, those are reasons, not "excuses".  Somewhere in the region of 90% of all insurance claims are paid out by insurers.

I can understand someone losing control of their horse .... or a dog, or their bladder, or losing control driving on ice or snow.  But driving on an inner city road when it's not even rained for 2 months?
