tezzaaa
Hi, I have a couple of bank accounts in my name in Thailand. Although I'm a regular visitor and married to a Thai, I'm not officially resident in Thailand yet as I don't spend more than 6 months there per year ; I'm EU resident. I do some additional IT projects for an online remote work platform and given they are pretty flexible as to where they can pay me, I have the option to be paid into my Thai bank account, does anyone know if this would be a problem/bad idea? I'm thinking about the new tax law etc. Thanks 🙂
Mike Lister
Is that money declared or taxed anywhere? Where does the work take place? Is the client in Thailand?

Mike Lister
You don't appear to have a tax liability in Thailand because the work isn't performed here, the client is not here and you are not tax resident. The rest of the picture you already know about so we wont go into that.

Mike Lister
The OP has his answer so I'm locking the thread since it begins to discuss tax evasion, which is illegal.
