@Sheryl or anyone.

Has anyone seen Lidocaine for sale in Thailand (specifically Chiang Mai).  Is it OTC (I can no longer access MIMS so I can't check)?

In what delivery method? Injectable (don't know) ? Numbing cream (widely available). Spray (available in many Boots stores).

Lidocaine is not an opiate.

Injectable lidocaine cannot be bought OTC.

There are various topical preparations containing lidocaine that can be.

OP needs to specify what form/for what purpose he needs it.

Topical.  I used to have some years ago.  Preferably 5% topical jell, liquid, or ointment without any other substances like camphor or other additives.
What I'm using it for will simply send this off topic.  It's nothing nefarious.
Thanks.

Topical for where on the body?

Archifen Ear drops are for pain in outer ear (lidocaine combined with an antibiotic)

Cathejell With Lidocaine  is a lubricant combined with lidocaine, used for catheter insertions etc

Kamistad Gel N is for application to mucous membranes (cold sores etc)

Racser cream is for application to intact skin

Racser viscous is for pain in mouth or throat

IF I need any form of pain medication, other than, occasionally, ibuprofen, then....

I go to the hospital.

This is why they have hospitals in Thailand.

Hospitals in Thailand are super low cost.

The physicians in Thailand are very understanding and helpful.

Therefore, there is NO REASON not to go to a hospital, if one is experiencing pain.

EMLA cream is available in many pharmacies without prescription. Fascino and Boots usually have it although not sure if they exist in your neck of the woods.
