They guy is Pakistani.

Key Takeaways

Arab and Pakistani are terms used to describe people from different parts of the world.

Arab refers to people from the Arabian Peninsula or surrounding regions, while Pakistani refers to people from Pakistan.

Arabs and Pakistanis have different cultures, languages, and customs, and no one-size-fits-all description can accurately describe all individuals from these regions.

I actually live in Saudi Arabia. Maybe you should dropped the silly lecture and focus more on on some people having a sense of humour? Assuming of course it doesn't give you a heart attack,

Came more across as a racist slur as are some of the other insinuated replies.

The arrest followed the arrest warrant issued by the Pattani Provincial Court for him on January 19th, 2024 in which he is being accused of using a fake identification card causing damage. He was taken back to the Mae Lan Police Station in Pattani.

This is not the first issue of Pakistani nationals having fake or illegal ID cards in Thailand.

Also to describe one's nationality. To that end if a Pakistani has dual citizenship, ie., Syria, he might be called Syrian. Most modern-day Syrians are described as Levantine Arabs. (Wikipedia)

So might he be called "Arabic?"

Pakistani has dual nationality with 21 countries including Syria, Bahrain, Jordan and Egypt but not with Saudia Arabia, Iraq or Iran. https://dip.gov.pk/immigration/dual_nationality.php
