webfact Posted February 20 Share Posted February 20 MORE THAN 20,000 smuggled fresh eggs and poultry meat plus other items were seized from a pickup that had just crossed the border from Cambodia to Arayanprathet district, Sa Kaeo province, last night (Feb. 19), Naewna newspaper said today. Pol. Col. Anothai Jindamanee, superintendent of Khlong Luek police station, said a team of policemen intercepted the pickup truck at around 7.30 p.m. after the Immigration Division of Provincial Police Region 3 was tipped off about the smuggling attempt via natural channels. Should have used the much quieter and less controlled border crossings at O'Smach into Surin Province or Choam into Sisaket Province. Much better chances of getting through.
