Probe Proposed Into Thaksin’s ‘Critical Illnesses’

FRESH INVESTIGATION WAS today (Feb, 21) proposed into alleged intransparency of certain government officials in charge of the “critically ill” de facto Pheu Thai boss-cum-convict on parole Thaksin Shinawatra.

Former election commissioner Somchai Srisutthiyakorn posted on his Facebook page today to call for an impartial, truthful investigation by a House committee or any other independent agency into alleged contentious, intransparent conduct of government officials ranging from those of the Corrections Department and Police Hospital to Justice Minister Thawee Sodsong for their handling of the “critically ill” Thaksin over the last six months.

The former commissioner’s call for the fact-finding probe into the “critical illnesses” of the de facto Pheu Thai boss-cum-convict on parole closely followed yesterday’s press conference given by Pheu Thai spokesperson Danuporn Punnakunt who quoted Thaksin’s daughter/party leader Paetongtarn Shinawatra as saying her father has been putting on soft splints around his neck and right arm due to degenerative bones and damaged tendons and that he is to undergo an operation on his neck at a yet unscheduled date.

According to the Pheu Thai spokesperson, the de facto party boss had decided to indefinitely put off his operation and preferred to leave the hospital for his home upon being granted parole on Sunday.

Poor old b'ger's got arthritis which is dressed up to look life threatening.

Quote from yesterday.

"degenerative bone disease" and "waiting for an operation at the police hospital to cure it".

Nonsense and use of long words to feed the ignorant masses.

That arm brace that he’s wearing I had the exact same one after his shoulder operation. I had to wear it for about six months I was in the hospital three days his plan worked perfectly. He spent not one night in a police jail his hospital stayed was paid by the people. It’s all a big joke TIT and whatever happened with the Red Bull kid. He’ll be back as soon as his centers has expired.

i fully support a very DEEP probe into taksin. as deep as they can go. when they think they have dug deep enough. push harder and go deeper.

also if these problems he is having are critical. how in a country like this where i can get an operation yesterday can he still not be scheduled for one ?

He's got a stiff neck and a pain in the [*rse] arm. How's that for serious.

The above words could be repeated about any of the many committees formed to investigate shady practices; to allow for six months of free lunches + travel expenses; to publish a bland meaningless report that no-one reads or acts upon.

Good luck with that.

Cool it Somchai! Your big fat brown envelope is in the post.

What's the point?

What is the worst punishment that could possibly happen to them?

Just prosecute the convicted criminal and put him back in jail. This time into real jail so that he has time to think about what he did wrong in his life.

You obviously have no idea about arthritis/bone joint damage. I've been on morphine for 16 years due to lower back broken/damaged, hips, both ankles and both wrists. From injuries I got in the army. Pain is hellish because its 24/7. I was told by a specialist not to let anyone operate on my back because the risks are not worth the possible results.

Don't be upset by my terminology. It just so happens I am very familiar with degenerative bone disease having seen many over the years.

My comments were aimed at the misdirection in yesterdays and todays posts regarding Thaksin and his future hospital operation to "cure" him.

You have my deepest sympathies. I fully understand your predicament.
