Unlocking borders: Thailand and China enter ‘visa-free era’ for tourists

The incident took place yesterday at 8pm, on February 25, when the family, lacking the funds to meet the exorbitant interest demands, feared for their safety.

BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand and Brazil have resolved a longstanding dispute at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) regarding the Thai government's subsidies to sugarcane farmers, which Brazil claimed violated WTO subsidy rules. The agreement, marking the end of an eight-year contention, was signed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, during the 13th WTO Ministerial Conference held from February 26 to 29.

Thai police officer fatally stabs man outside education centre

In a tragic turn of events, police officer Chawanil Jindamanee, stationed at Cha-uat Police Station in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, committed a heinous crime using a knife to fatally wound 51 year old Wichitra, and seriously injured 69 year old Prapha. The incident took place outside of a non-formal education centre in Cha-uat district on February 24.
