Perfect Player is currently working fine for me.

  • It's a worldwide problem with several undersea fiber optics sabotaged. Could be one reason for slow internet.

I pay 1,000 Baht a month.

Every channel has catchup.

Hey Guys,
I used to be with Pulse for around 7yrs.
They were "ok"ish.... sometimes fine.... sometimes good.... sometimes really, irritatingly crappy....

Last year I switched to Asia Expat TV.... they're pretty good.... but irritatingly "catchup tv" is only available 7hrs after the end of the "live" program.

When my contract ends in a couple of months time, I'm considering switching back to Pulse or Perfect Player TV.

After what appears to have been a very poor start, has PerfectPlayerTV now got everything sorted.?

Is "catchup TV" working well, now.?

Is Catchup TV immediate or do you have to wait a few hours after the "live" program has ended before being able to use Catchup TV.?

And a couple of additional questions....

I like to use "catchup" tv on the "music" channels... do some of the music channels still have the "catchup" tv option available on PerfectPlayerTV.?

Coz Asia Expat TV, my current provider, doesn't have any "catchup" tv music channels.

And is "catchup tv" available for the SKY MOVIES channels, coz my current provider does not provide catchup tv for them.?

Cheers guys, I appreciate any responses to the above queries.!

Perfect had a few issues during the transition from Pulse, but now seems to be the most stable there is that I can find, I use the two major providers in thailand and one as a backup, the think I like about Perfect is the simplicity. It has everything readable from the same screen, I don't have to go to another section to view catchup, it has catchup for all channels, when I travel, I inform them that I will be in a new location and they assign me a server to that location so my signal is always good. I have used these systems for a few years now and the Perfect layout is certainly the best. I like that if I have missed the first 5 mins of a programme I can start at the beginning of that programme without waiting for it to end. It just works well.

Yes, PerfectTV is not perfect, but has been working pretty well for the last few months.  Good customer service via email, as well.  Lots of new movies/series added and new channels occasionally.  Very easy to use.

Many thanks, ThaiGenius and brewsterbudgen, I think I will switch to PerfectPlayerTV when my current contract comes to an end on May 1st 2025... Happy New Year.! 🙂

I have a friend who used Pulse for many years, and also after it became Perfect Player. While Perfect is not too bad for English channels, French and German channels are a disaster.

Channels going or are offline, totally different channel shown instead of the original and mostly in a supposedly Eastern European language. Even for their movies/tv series it is sometimes stop and go.

He told me for instance Sky News, when they want to watch a program from the start in catch up, after 30-40 minutes into the program it jumps to live and they have informed Perfect many times about it, but...

So they are looking for a provider who might be able to supply the same channels as at Perfect.

Interesting.!!! Thanks Heminda.!!! I may have to keep my options open for now, then.! My current contract with Asia Expat TV expires on May 1st.... I am undecided whether to remain with them or switch to Not so PerfectPlayerTV.!!! But since I watch all TV channels in English, perhaps Not So PerfectPlayer TV would be fine.?!!!
