Moti24 Posted March 5 Share Posted March 5 Hi all, I've slipped up here. My driving licence is due for renewal in April. I'm currently in The UK, and not back in Thailand until July. By doing it after renewal date, you get longer out of the new licence, up to almost 6 years. Did mine a few months ago, and was not able to do an online appointment, they were not available for non Thai. Went to the centre to check the situation, there was two tented areas outside, one desk deals with all non Thais. They will accept photocopies of the COR and Medical if renewing car + bike. If you do it after your renewal date, the new license will be 5 years after your next birthday. So for example, do it a week after expiry date and you will get 5 years 51 weeks. Those adverts are a con and the Police have already made announcements telling people not to fall for it.
