snoop1130
On May 7th, Thawatchai Srithong, the Chonburi Governor, along with city officials from Pattaya and other associated bodies visited Koh Larn. They provided 100,000 liters of free water to the residents affected by the current dry season in Thailand. This act of kindness immediately brought relief to over 50 families living on the island, as stated by Mr. Thawatchai. Each family got approximately 2,000 liters of pure water for their everyday use. Before this water distribution, the residents of Koh Larn reported extreme water shortage. They were unhappy about the significant increase in water prices, which went up almost four times, from 300 baht to over 1,200 baht, during the time of high demand. The Chonburi governor also noted that Pattaya City plans to supply an extra 150,000 liters of water to the local people soon. Meanwhile, the city is trying to find a long-term resolution to this issue. File photo for reference only. He's a politician, and they never, ever do anything out of kindness, it's always about cynical vote-buying. 1
