yes you can. fly in singapore on the 1st flight of the day, and you can catch the last flight out whcih is around late at night for the budget airlines.

airasia has about 4 flights to and fro bangkok daily, so im sure u can do it. just purchase 2 1 way ickets sapareately if the procedures confuse you.

you can easily do that and I did that more than once, when I was in desperate need to go shopping for some ROCK-CD's which can not be found anywhere in LOS (so HMV RECORDS at ORCHARD is like paradise for me here in Asia).

taking the first flight with Air Asia is the best option, to return to BKK you might as well consider flying JETSTAR, as they often have seats at 29/39 Singa-$ plus tax if u book early in advance, and they allow you to check in 20 KILO of luggage. that might be important if u plan a shopping orgy over there.....
