Bombings in Narathiwat interrupt Senate candidate applications

Two bomb blasts in Narathiwat province disrupted the start of the senatorial candidates' application process. In the Cho-airong district, an explosion near a communication tower interfered with the internet signal. This situation forced three individuals, who had arrived at the Cho-airong district office to register for candidacy, to be turned back until the internet connection is restored.

Younger Brother of Thanathorn Sentenced to Six Months in Prison for Bribery

Today, a corrupt property mogul has been sentenced to half a year in jail. Sakulthorn Juangroongruangkit, who is the CEO of Real Estate Development Company Ltd. and younger brother to Thanathorn, the leader of the Progressive Movement, was found guilty of bribery. The charges against Sakulthorn include a 20-million-baht bribe he paid to an official from the Crown Property Bureau and another man. The bribe's purpose was to get permission for his firm to rent a 1.02-hectare piece of land in Bangkok's Chidlom area without requiring an open bid process.

Test Results Indicate 10-Year-Old Rice is Safe to Eat

Tourism campaign in the works to promote second-tier provinces

Corrupt former DSI chief faces 44 million baht asset seizure

Principal removed after child trafficking allegations in Khon Kaen

Nonthaburi city worker shot, gunman surrenders

A man has turned himself in to the authorities after he had a shootout with a city worker in Sai Ma municipality. The man, after releasing shots at a municipal employee who was in his car, has four charges against him and has been granted bail by the police.

Drunk Chinese national causes extensive damage in a Bangkok hotel

A Chinese man was arrested in Bangkok after causing havoc at a hotel while under the influence of alcohol. The 30-year-old caused extensive damage to a hotel room in the Sathorn district, burning and breaking various items of property.

Lawyer Taken Into Custody Over Claims of Sexual Assault and Threats to Female Client

Officials in Phuket begin offshore inspection on jet skis and jet cars

Officials in Phuket have uncovered 26 illegal jet skis following multiple complaints from local residents and hoteliers in the northern part of the island. The complaints mentioned jet skis operating outside of their allowed areas in Ao Por Bay, Naka Island, Koh Rang, and Yamu Bay.
