why not, as long as it goes in the bank, that's then income

Try telling that to immigration.

 

They want to see 1 monthly deposit of 40,000 baht or more, 2 separate deposits won't fly.

A friend of mine tried to combine 2 separate deposits and was told no way.

Of course the OPs IO might be different but I would advise a visit to explain what you intend.

Remember you must have 12 monthly deposits before you apply for the extension.

No need for 12 deposits for the first application.
