In Pathum Thani, a delivery rider who was overwhelmed by jealousy viciously attacked his girlfriend with a knife. The brutal attack left severe injuries on his girlfriend and she was trapped inside a rented room. She managed to alert her neighbours with her cries of help, and they contacted her son. He came to her rescue, rushing her to the hospital, and her life was saved in the nick of time.

Pisit Chongcharuwong, the Deputy investigator of Pak Klong Rangsit Police Station in Pathum Thani, received a report of a stabbing incident in a rented room in Mueang Pathum Thani district at about 8:30pm yesterday.

On receiving the distress call, the police, along with forensic investigators and volunteers of Ruamkatanyu Foundation, hurriedly reached the scene of the crime. This place was a complex of rented rooms. In one of these rooms, Suksan, a 48-year-old woman, was found wounded from multiple knife stabbings. She had injuries on her right chest, right breast, right arm, and right leg. Due to the critical nature of her wounds, she was rushed to the Krung Siam St. Carlos Hospital. There was clear evidence of a confrontation in the room, with property scattered and destroyed, and a broken knife smeared with blood was found.

Somdee, a 64-year-old neighbour, mentioned hearing cries of help from Suksan. She couldn't gain entry into the locked room and so went to fetch other neighbours for assistance. Continuing her efforts, she found the victim's son playing snooker nearby. After explaining the situation to him, they returned to the scene. The son broke down the door and found his mother lying in a pool of blood, severely injured.

The attacker, Suksan's boyfriend, who has been in a relationship with her for about five to six months, had vanished from the place of the crime. The couple is known to bicker frequently, with the boyfriend having constant suspicions despite Suksan's friendly disposition.

Video surveillance showed that the attacker drove away after the stabbing incident. Police are now actively searching for him for further questioning and potential legal follow-up, according to a report from Khaosod.

This incident underscores the serious threat of domestic violence, and emphasizes the key role that alert neighbours and prompt actions can make in saving someone's life.

This article underscores the prevalence of AI in news reporting, and emphasizes its telltale repetitiveness usually found in the concluding sentence of the article.

so people do not call the police or they did and they were to busy with other things like collection envelopes ?

......the police, along with forensic investigators and volunteers of Ruamkatanyu Foundation, hurriedly reached the scene ......

Usually, they would have 'rushed' but for this incident there was less urgency.
