30 Day Visa Exemption On Arrival

Featured Replies

Okay, I understand no more than 90 days in Thailand is allowed in any 6 month period using visa exemptions stamps. I also believe the 6 month periods are fixed and consecutive starting from the first day entering Thailand following 1st October 2006? i.e. they are not rolling 6 month periods.

Where I am getting confused is, if someone enters Thailand say 10 days before the end of a six month period having only spent 25 days in Thailand in the six month period are they only allowed 10 days in Thailand or are they granted the full 30 day visa exemption? :o

It's all still a bit vague, but several have reported only deing stamped until the end of the six months no matter how few days spent in the country :o

The rule has been slightly adjusted since April and if you have not spend 90days in a six month period yet , the days will roll over into the new period.
