LINE Thailand has warned users about SMS messages impersonating LINE, which inform users to log in to their LINE accounts to maintain their usage status.

These messages contain fake links that lead to phishing sites, asking users to log in to their LINE accounts through a web browser.

They advise users to carefully review messages and be cautious about clicking on such links.

Don't see how that could happen as you're always logged into your LINE account or it wouldn't work.

Clearly Line, has found the scam, and people must of experienced problems, or the company would not have issued the warning.

The issue as with many such "scams" is people not thinking and clicking on licks when they shouldn't. Just because Line is open and working doesn't mean someone won't click on a link in an sms message when it pops up.......
