It's therefore fortunate that the majority immigrants to the UK don't have those attributes.

Got any links to prove that?

  • I can see a simple solution for all this.   Drastically reduce the number of immigrants. We already have over a million unemployed, we don't need more unskilled people bringing with them ant

  • This is exactly why we need to leave the ECHR.

  • Seeing as you don't watch the video links, you should really stop responding to subsequent comments about them.   The judgement in the video (to give a council house to an illegal immigrant)

"There is no differentiation there between legal (economic) immigrants and asylum seekers."

But as you said: You have no idea🙏

Ok I now know what you are referring to. And your point is?

You are the one claiming that "...we don't need more unskilled people (immigrants) bringing with them anti-semitic, misogynistic, intolerant belief systems."

In the first instance, it is up to you to provide evidence to support that contention not to me to disprove it.

If you haven't the clue what are the differences between migrants, immigrants and asylum seekers....then I give up

I understand the terms.

What I (still) don't know is what point you are trying to make.

Should go down well in Clacton!

Asylum seekers got a right to stay and according to Genever convention you have to let them in. How to reduce the numbers? By create livable conditions in their home countries.

Immigrants you can chose according to skills. And migrants it's hard to deny entry if they got a job.

Now you again: where to start to reduce the numbers? I wonder how you wanna do it🤗

I agree (+ try to ensure that they are free from persecution)

A licence is required in order to employ overseas nationals. I doubt that this presents much of a problem for multinationals, but it is probably a different story for SMEs. However, that is an aside.

Rather than pander to calls to cut immigration to some arbitrary number, I would like to see immigration numbers based on the UK's estimated future needs. Of course for this to happen, it would the government to develop an integrated industrial strategy. Given that, such a policy would have to be medium/ long term in nature and political parties cannot see further than the next election, I'm not hopeful.

I agree. I don't see any country to tackle this problem.

Maybe one country got the right way to walk. Denmark.

They grant only to those support who passed the "asylum test".

In Denmark then you'll have to learn the language and to work. So it's a win-win situation. Denmark get skilled workers and the subsidies at the beginning (school aso) are paid later back to the community (income tax aso).

If you look into Germany you'll see how it shouldn't work (same in UK). 2015 (Syria, Afghanistan )1.5 million, and 2022 1 million (Ukraine). = No education, no work permission ,(except Ukranian doctors, nurses, IT-specialists, engineers)

( The last international study about climate change shows that we'll have a climate in London similar to that in Florence. Time to plant palm trees. However, .....in 2080.🤗)
