The police in Patong are searching for a woman who stole a golden amulet and 600 baht from a smoothie shop. The incident, which occurred on Sawasdirak Road, was reported at 10.50 am today by the shop owner, Aum. She discovered the theft upon reopening her shop at 11 am, which she had closed at 2:30 am the same day.

A local Thai woman was identified in the shop's CCTV footage, which showed her entering the shop and taking the items around 4 am. Aum immediately informed the police after noticing this. This is the first incident of theft at her shop, and she hopes the thief will return the precious gold amulet.

With the CCTV footage going viral on social media, several people have commented and provided additional information about the thief. Some even shared additional CCTV footage to support the ongoing investigation. The footage reveals the thief counting the stolen money in a nearby shop. Although seemingly unaware of the value of the gold amulet, the woman's face was distinctly captured on camera, which has assisted the police in their pursuit.

The police are making efforts to catch the woman and recover the stolen items.

It is just unbelievable the amateurishness of this news team. So, did the robber stole an amulet worth 600 Baht or did the robber take 600 Baht cash from a smoothie shop. Random photo in no relation to the news.
