28 June, a fire broke out on a raft house in the middle of the Sakae Krang River, before drifting downstream and igniting a nearby raft house along with fish cages.

Local police in Uthai Thani Municipality received a report of a fire on a raft house in the Sakae Krang River. Officers rushed to the scene to find the raft house engulfed in flames and drifting with the current. Residents and authorities worked together to tow nearby raft houses away from the burning structure.

Despite their efforts, the blaze spread to another raft house, completely destroying it along with the fish cages attached to it. In total, two residential raft houses and one fish cage were destroyed. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities.

Initial investigations suggest that the fire might have been caused by an electrical short circuit. Authorities are conducting a detailed investigation to confirm the exact cause.
