Warehouse Fire Laem Chabang.

July 6, 13:30, Laem Chabang, Chonburi, a fire broke out at a factory warehouse.


Thick black smoke has been observed billowing from the site. Responders are currently on the scene working to control the scene.

At 14.50 is reported that the fire has now been brought under control, but not fully extinguished.
 

It is teported as a fire in a spare parts warehouse at the PDS1 parking lot of Mitsubishi, within the Laem Chabang Industrial Estate.

The fire affected outdoor material racks containing rubber and plastic materials. No casualties or injuries have been reported.

oh dear '    this is terrible ....   I feel for the workers and the company managers. 

 

I hope they can rebuild and start again,  as we know a fire can devastate a company.

Thai media update.
 

“A company employee reported that the area was usually unoccupied. Initially, the smell of burning rubber was noticed, but it did not raise concern until the flames were visible. Despite efforts by the factory staff to extinguish the fire, it spread quickly. The preliminary investigation suggests that accumulated heat might have caused the incident.

 

Officials conducted an initial inspection at the scene along with company representatives. The fire is presumed to have been caused by heat accumulation. A thorough investigation will be carried out to determine the exact cause of the fire.”
