British tourist missing after trip to Bangkok found safe in Finland
They may have had the answers, but privacy policies prevent them from revealing them to anyone but law enforcement. It's nobody's business but the guy traveling. -

Buying a new Windows key - my experience.
Now they have your debit/credit card information and they can use it or sell it to someone else. I wanted to buy MSFT 365 and my friend provided me with a similar site and 75% discount promotion code. I said to him it was question of time when they will start taking money off the card but he answered that he had been using their service since 2 years and never had problems. I said to him they are in information collection phase now. Anyway, there is a workaround which is to have a debit card connected to a bank account that is literally used for all online purchases. For example, if you wanna buy something from Shopee that costs 500 THB, you first transfer those 500THB to that bank account and perform the transaction. Be careful guys with sites that sell you Windows and other software for so cheap money. -

How to kill 5 children with 1 motorcycle
Correct. If you want to see "poor" go to VN. Not putting down another Asian country, just pointing out the fact. We are not talking about villages here, but in big cities, say HCMC, it's still pretty much a 2-wheeler society. For passing the time, you can try to count the number of 4-wheel vehicles passing by on the road. The quotient would be somehting like 10 to 1, or maybe 2. -

Connundrum. My car is misplated and I'd like to make it fully legal. How?
engine number is the least of your problem, if you drive through any checkpoints and they see a green plated k-car but has full seats and cabin, the worst is they could seize the car or make you pay back the excise tax, or if they dig deeper the importation documents might not hold up, certain province's DLT are known to be more 'lenient' towards k-car imports at a time and many were used to 'launder' these cars from supposedly 'scraps' Some might even use donor VIN from a locally available Daihatsu MIra which were available as a pickup and qualify for the green plate even going the legitimate route, to convert form green plate to black plate, you'll have to pay back the tax difference, which now might be worth more than the car at this point -

That's it boomer " 30 years ago". Times have changed. It is strange for a person who updates Facebook or whatever everyday ( as unfortunately a billion people do) to all of a sudden stop! I bet it wasn't super cheap for your mommy to call you 30 years ago as well. I didn't have a cell phone in 1994 and my mommy didn't either. Yours did but she didn't call you for other obvious reason and you had a phone for some reason too. Why?? -
