Driving License Change Of Address - What Documents Are Required?

Hi,

 

What is the procedure for changing my home address for my car and motorbike driving licenses at the Department Of Land & Transport in Bangkok?

 

Is it a fairly painless process?

I’ve not carried this out as when we ve moved address I’ve simply kept the same license & the address only changed when I renewed at the 5 year mark.

 

From that perspective I’d suggest not to bother changing the address on the Thai Driving License.

 

That said: if you this is something you consider you should do - I’d guess that a Letter of Address from immigration (or yellow house book is all that’s needed)
