New passaport and transfer visa

I renewed my passport. Is there a time limit within which I have to go to immigration and have the visa transferred from the old to the new passport?

Also, don't forget to update new passport with your phone SIM card provider.

As noted by others new passport details need to be informed to bank and phone provider and also on your car/motorbike licenses.

I have done it with the bank and TDL, but didn't think about the phone company. Thanks for all the help here (and not only here).
