"Blaming 'incompetent Thai drivers' is just another variation of racial stereotyping. Thai drivers are no more or less competent than drivers anywhere else—the difference lies in the road safety system they operate within. The claim that poor infrastructure isn’t a reason for deadly accidents is simply wrong. Road design plays a massive role in crash risk—lack of proper signage, poor lighting, unsafe intersections, and road maintenance issues all contribute to fatalities. That’s why countries with strong road safety policies focus on systemic improvements, not just blaming individuals. Expecting drivers to just 'adjust their speed' without proper enforcement, road design, and public awareness campaigns ignores how road safety actually works. A Safe System approach recognizes that people make mistakes, so roads, vehicles, and policies must be designed to reduce the consequences of those mistakes. Generalizing Thai drivers as ‘incompetent’ is lazy and unhelpful. If we want real change, we need to focus on data-driven solutions, not stereotypes." -

You have to make up your mind if it is ok or not so ok to use "they". I others use the word you call it "racist rubbish". But when you use the same word then it seems you think that is perfectly ok. Why should anybody listen to you? -

Road Safety in Thailand – a summary of Perceptions and Reality
I've been driving over 50 years, and many more miles than the average person. Do you think I don't have a proper understanding of road safety systems? That's another of the many assumptions I see here daily. Thinking you know more about this is also an assumption on your part. Road safety is about all things I mentioned. It's not just one factor, but it still boils down to one main thing. It's the driver who is responsible for their own driving, and not anyone else. If they know how to drive safe, from training, education and care, there is one less incompetent person on the road causing problems, and one less for the police to worry about. Accidents happen because people take risks, meaning driving without enough skills to be a safe driver, drinking or doing drugs before driving, not driving a road safe vehicle, not being aware of other drivers around them, or caring if they are, If the road is unsafe, it means you go slower until the road is repaired. There is no need for emergency response if an accident didn't happen, which again, is still on the drivers. Cultural attitudes mean nothing. Road laws are much the same all over. If you follow the laws, there are less accidents. If all followed the laws, there are no accidents. No fatalities or injuries, no court dates or fines. It all goes back to the responsibility of the driver. There are again, bad drivers in all countries, which is obvious. Thailand doesn't have all the world's bad drivers. They just have a lot more than most. If you drive Thailand every day, like you say, you will see what goes on here, just as I and others do. I see foreigners driving carelessly, mostly on motorcycles, but I see a much higher percentage of locals making bad decisions and erratic driving than foreigners. Most are on scooters but many in cars and trucks. I don't see people in the US going around someone in the fast lane, into oncoming traffic, to pass someone who's doing the speed limit, to get around them, instead of taking the safer route in the next lane to pass. I see this all the time here. That's arrogance and or ignorance. I do see motorcycles weaving in and out of traffic sometimes in the US. Here you see it all the time, at all speeds. Again, it's not just one thing that makes the ending results here in accidents, but it's still the driver who's responsible. You can put 10 good drivers on a very bad road and they can drive without accidents. You can also put 2 bad drivers out of 10 on a excellent road and you will have accidents. Driver responsibility, first and foremost.- 1

Condo blue book
Thank you..I sold my condo 2 years ago and the buyer insulted me yesterday through phone as "all his friends" have a blue book, I am dishonest and intimating he takes a lawyer and I must do the procedure and get him... But first of all I was not the owner (I had proxy for the sale).. and now not being an owner I cannot do it.... Was maybe drunk as I never heard from him for 2 years and this now comes out Thank you Have a good day -

American and Canadian Tourists Die After Collapsing at Phuket Music Festival
Good evening. I am Shahnewaz Ahmed, twin brother of the deceased Canadian at EDC Thailand 2025. Sharfaraz has had no known addictions, medical issues, recent fights, conflicts or any other ailment that could have directly or indirectly have caused his sudden death. He loved House and Electric music, and he frequented these concerts and even took up mixing as a hobby very recently. He was always careful, so we never worried when he went to this next one. The pain is unbearable on this one, he was just about to return home to his family after the 2 day festival in Phuket. He was only 28. Sharfaraz was a larger-than-life people person, incredibly generous, a determined individual, and a mechatronics engineer with a passion for EDM music and F1. He was loved by many, including his friends at Toronto Metropolitan University, and his coworkers at Rio Tinto Canada. It's hard to accept what has happened to him all of a sudden. I didn't think a day will come where I will have to bury my twin. Rest in peace brother. Gone so soon, but forever will be in our hearts.
