Must Read Its Happening - Law to Tax Overseas Income Now in Progress
That is true. Foreign residents, including temporary residents, in Western countries usually get those benefits, except in the US which has no universal healthcare for its own citizens (spends the money on export of war, death and destruction instead). In the UK the only thing most foreigners living there, whether on settlement visas or not, don't get if the vote which, considering the quality of politicians doesn't matter much. Some even do get the vote, including the Irish and citizens of Commonwealth countries and the latter don't reciprocate. Labour likes this because most of the foreigners vote for them. -

Reduce taxation by gifting.
Was not impressed at all with the American guy. When asked about I believe it was ATM and or CC, he said; no tax, just don´t use them too much. ?? What does that mean? Is there some limit in usage or is he a big know nothing like most of these people. -

Thai Woman Denied Entry to South Korea Over Odd Immigration Query
To deny it is nonsense. I have personally experienced this when my second Filipina was prevented from leaving the country twice. The second time I was there and there were lots of other girls in the same position. One good looking Filipina with a young American boyfriend was prevented from leaving because she could not establish her relationship was long and serious enough. Young and good looking Filipinas are routinely prevented from exiting the country. "According to government data, 39,061 departing travelers were referred to a secondary inspection from January to May this year. Of this figure, 13,764 were prevented from leaving the country. Last year, 32,404 Filipinos were not allowed to proceed with their flights. Subsequent investigations revealed that only 472 were found to be victims of human trafficking or illegal recruitment." https://thediplomat.com/2023/09/philippines-suspends-new-travel-rules-amid-public-outcry/ The way the Filipino immmigration does this is by requiring onerous documentation where the Filipina then has to prove she is in a relationship. For instance the boyfriend has to fly to the nearest Philippines embassy and get his invitation witnessed by officials of the Philippines embassy. A simply invitation is no longer sufficient. Never mind that Filipino immigration has no legal basis for this. -

Trump's Proposed Mortgage Ban for Undocumented Immigrants Sparks Debate
Except that, through federally insured deposits, the taxpayers are on the hook if the banks fail, like they did last time the banksters made home loans to people who had a high probability of defaulting. Like the 85% of illegal asylum seekers who historically lose their cases and may have to leave the country. The banksters made their commissions on the so called "Liar Loans", and for years. Edit: And I would add that the FDIC and FSLIC (and others) didn't sell the foreclosed properties to the peons to allow them to buy a distressed home on the cheap. They bundled them into multimillion dollar packages so only their corporate donors could afford to buy them, and mark them up to sell to the peons. More corporate welfare. -

Agree. A random comment from an IO and the OP is building a bridge to link taxation concerns. Nonsense imo.. -

Must Read Its Happening - Law to Tax Overseas Income Now in Progress
Something lost in translation. They meant tax residents, i.e. those spending at least 180 days or partial days in the Kingdom in a calendar/tax year. The Revenue Code is nationality neutral. Nothing in it distinguishes Thai citizens or PRs from anyone else.
