Heavy rainfall has relentlessly pounded the Mae Sot district in Tak Province throughout the day and night, leading to widespread disruption along the border. The persistent and intense downpour has caused the Moei River to swell significantly, resulting in a rapid and turbulent current.

This adverse weather condition has led to an accident involving goods transportation ferry across the Moei River, which snapped from the supporting line and slings.

Fortunately, there were no casualties, and everyone was able to get back on land.
